Fireplace & Chimney Inspection
We can utilize camera equipment for inspection of the full height of the chimney or metal flue for a full level II inspection. This includes an inspection of the attic, basement, or crawlspace to inspect areas connected to the chimney as well.
Well Water Quality & Quantity Testing
This will be an inspection of all accessible well components (pressure tank/switch, filters, flow rate) included in a separate report, but will still include the lab results of the well water for Lead, Coliform, E. coli, Nitrite, and Nitrate.
Mold & Air Quality Testing
We offer mold/air quality testing with the latest equipment! We use easy to read, best reports in the industry. We are IAC2 mold certified, so you know you’re getting reliable information from a qualified mold tester.
Sewer Scope
The only way to know if your homes underground sewer line is free of defects is with a sewer scope! Typically the homeowner is responsible for any repairs, and a sewer scope can uncover hidden issues. We are interNACHI certified in conducting sewer scopes.
Radon Testing
Elevated radon concentrations have been discovered in Nevada homes and it is recommended that all homes be tested for radon. Our testing equipment is NRPP certified for 48 hour testing in real estate transactions! Instantaneous results and report. We are also IAC2 radon certified.
Thermal Imaging
The purpose of an infrared scan is to find issues that may not be visible to the naked eye and catch them before they become a major problem. With the use of our infrared camera, we can help identify moisture, insulation, electrical, HVAC issues, and more.
Foundation Certification
We offer your needed foundation certifications within 24hrs. Many Lenders are requiring that an engineer certify the foundation system as being HUD compliant for Manufactured Homes.
Pest Inspection
Schedule a termite and home inspection in one place, at one time! Schedule online and select wood destroying pest inspection, or text or call, and let us know. We will set up the rest! We contract the pest inspection through Tipton’s Pest Control. Payment is separate.
About Us
I’m Erik Geiger, the owner and inspector at Geiger Home Inspections LLC. I have been married to my wife (Lindsay) for 12 years, we have 4 children, homeschool, are active in our church, and enjoy raising our ever growing list of animals. We proudly serve Elko, Spring Creek, and all surrounding areas. I obtained my bachelors degree in business and worked as a supervisor in the warehouse industry, but decided to persue my passion in homes. I was led into inspections after owning 3 homes and understanding the need for quality, thorough inspections. My goal is to provide our clients with ample and honest information about their homes. Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
